Promoting At-Promise Student Success

The Promoting At-promise Student Success (PASS) project is a multi-year mixed-methods research project at the USC Pullias Center for Higher Education. Conducted in partnership with three University of Nebraska campuses, PASS is dedicated to deepening understandings of at-promise student success in postsecondary institutions. It is our hope that our findings will be helpful in informing higher educational institutional practice and policy.

KEY FINDINGS

Guidance for university administrators, program staff and other policymakers interested in maximizing program impact and understanding at-promise students’ postsecondary experiences.

RESEARCH

Reports, papers and publications supported by our research and analyses for providing an informed perspective on supporting at-promise students in higher education.

PRACTICE

Resources for practitioners at higher education institutions who support at-promise students.

“The PASS project emphasizes the value of providing tailored support to at-promise students and shows that it’s not necessarily what you do, but how you do it that makes a difference.”

Adrianna Kezar

Director of USC Pullias Center and PASS project Principal Investigator (Phase I)
